The Morgan City High School Lady Tiger bowling team qualified for its second consecutive Final Four after finishing 2-0 at the state's Western Bi-Regional Monday at Creole Lanes in Houma. Morgan City, the event's top seed, knocked off No. 9 H.L. Bourgeois and No. 5 Ellender. The Lady Tigers will play again April 7 at 11 a.m. against an opponent from the state's Eastern Bi-Regional, which will be played today in Baton Rouge. MCHS bowling teams continue playoff action today

The Morgan City High School girls’ and boys’ bowling teams will continue postseason play today when they compete in the state’s Western Bi-Regional at Creole Lanes in Houma Monday.

Bill Marin and Cade Thibodeaux teamsed to win the first Tuesday Night Scramble of the season at The Atchafalaya at Idlewild near Patterson last week. The tournament was played on the back nine, and beginning at Hole 10, Marin and Thibodeaux combined for eight 3's on their card before making a par on Hole 18 for a score of 28 and an easy win. Plans are to host the Tuesday Night Scrambles weekly, which include prizes and a steakburger buffet after golfing.
