Franklin’s Malik King runs for daylight during Friday’s season-opening game against the Patterson Lumberjacks. Franklin (0-1) will play host to the North Vermilion Patriots (0-0) on Friday at J. C. Dry Stadium. The West St. Mary Wolfpack (0-1) will travel to play the Opelousas Tigers (0-1) on Thursday at 7 p.m. at Donald Gardner Stadium in Opelousas. The Centerville Bulldogs (1-0) will play host to Ridgewood (0-0) on Friday at 7.m. The Hanson Memorial Tigers (0-1) will host the Morgan City Tigers (0-1) on Friday at 7 p.m. at McCloskey Field.
