Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association to host 'Day in the Park'

The Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association is seeking new members and will be holding a “Day in the Park” Saturday at Kemper Williams Park near Patterson.
Welcoming and sanctioning of new players will begin at approximately 10 a.m.
The Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association also would like to welcome potential youth players. Players will be available to educate and instruct on organized horseshoe pitching, and horseshoes will be available.
Food and refreshments will be served.
On March 21, Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association will meet under the pavilion by the association’s pits to draw for league teams, while the spring league will start March 28. League play is handicap and count all.
Along with the regular tournaments, the Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association will host two major tournaments this year: the Louisiana State Singles Championships and the 3rd annual Cajun Coast Horseshoe Classic, which is one of five National Horseshoe Tour Tournaments.
