Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association distributes awards for 2018 season

The Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association honored its members for their 2018 accomplishments.
Below is a list of the awards:
—City Singles Champion: Tim Gilmore.
—City Doubles Champions: Linda and Al Dodson.
—Player of the Year (30-foot division): Gilmore.
—Player of the Year (40-foot division): Glenn Caillouet.
—Rookie of the Year: Mark Ordogne.
—Most Improved (30-foot division): Calvin Johnson.
—Most Improved (40-foot division): Clyde Landry.
—Sportsmanship of the Year (30-foot division): Johnson.
—Sportsmanship of the Year (40-foot division): Hilton Rhodes.
—Spring League Champions: Al Dodson (team captain), Rhodes, Caillouet and Glenn Miller.
—Fall League Champions: Dudley Michel (team captain), Rhodes, Julius Lovell and Dwain Arceneaux.
—Spring Awards: Ordogne (20% patch), Jimmy Percle (40-foot high averages — 51.4 points per game, high ringer % — 30.1 ringer %), Angela Percle (high handicap game — 114 points, women’s high game over average — 28.1, best won/loss — 41-7 — 85.4%), Caillouet (40-foot high scratch game — 69 points, 47.5 ringer %, 40% patch), Rhodes (40% patch), Al Dodson (70% patch), Gilmore (30-foot high averages — 62.7 ringer %, 82.6 points per game, both city records; 30-foot high scratch games; 104 points; 82.5 ringer %), James Montgomery (20%patch), Tyler Bourdier (30% patch) and Gerald Prados (70% patch).
—Fall Awards: Michel (best won/loss 23-7 — 76.7%), Tim Hayles (men—high game over average — 38.2, 40-foot high scratch game — 77 points), Clyde Landry (40-foot high averages, 33.5 ringer %, 55.8 points per game, 40-foot high ringer game — 52.5 %), Linda Dodson (women’s high game over average — 34.9 points), Gilmore (30-foot high ringer % — 63.3 %, high-point average per game — 84.0, both city records; 30-foot high scratch game (106 point), high ringer game — 85 percent — city records.)
