MCHS splits games this week

Morgan City High School split its games this week with a District 3 victory against E.D. White Monday and a loss to Terrebonne in nondistrict action Wednesday.
Monday, Morgan City defeated E.D. White 21-6 at Creole Lanes in Houma.
Devin Hidalgo led Morgan City with games of 207 and 178. Other top Morgan City bowlers were Kyle Waldron (200), Richard Sartwell (172, 170) and Tyler Ho (174).
Wednesday, Morgan City fell to Terrebonne 16-11 at Charlie’s Lanes in Morgan City.
Hidalgo led Morgan City with a 650 series with games of 203, 244 and 203. Other top Morgan City bowers were as follows: Waldron (186), Sartwell (181) and Ho (163, 173).
Last week, Morgan City finished 0-2, falling to Berwick and H.L. Bourgeois at Charlie’s Lanes in Morgan City.
On Feb. 5, Morgan City fell to Berwick 25-2.
Ho led Morgan City with games of 161 and 211. Other top Morgan City bowlers were Hidalgo (182, 166) and Sartwell (162).
On Feb. 3, Morgan City fell to H.L. Bourgeois 19-8.
Hidalgo led Morgan City with a 186 game. Other top Morgan City bowlers were Ho (183, 172) and Waldron and Sartwell, each with a 163 game.
Berwick wins match
The Berwick Panthers dominated South Lafourche with a 27-0 victory in nondistrict action at Creole Lanes in Houma Monday.
Isaaiah Williams led Berwick with a 587 series, with games of 177, 209 and 201. Other top Berwick bowlers were as follows: Kyle Valdez (160, 186 and 193), Jessie Lodrigue (176, 209), Jackson Kenney (169) and Ethan Blanchard (168, 160).
Last week, the Berwick Panthers finished 2-0 with a district victory against Morgan City and a nondistrict win against Ellender, both at Charlie’s Lanes in Morgan City.
On Feb. 5, Berwick routed Morgan City 25-2 in District 3 play.
Williams led Berwick with a 566 series, including games of 224 and 191, while Blanchard had a 562 series, with games of 196, 166 and 200. Other top Berwick bowlers were Valdez, 553 series (177, 208, 168) and Kenney, with games of 161 and 172.
On Feb. 3, Berwick beat Ellender 16-11.
Cameron Lacoste led Berwick with a 221 game. Other top Berwick bowlers were as follows: Valdez (174), Williams (171) and Blanchard (161).
CCHS finishes week 0-2
The Central Catholic Eagles finished 0-2 this week, falling to H.L. Bourgeois Monday and Houma Christian Wednesday.
Monday, H.L. Bourgeois defeated Central Catholic 24-3 at Charlie’s Lanes in Morgan City.
Ethan Majewski led Central Catholic with a 570 series with games of 179, 210 and 181, while Ty Ribardi added games of 160, 174 and 174.
Wednesday, Central Catholic fell to Houma Christian 22-5 at Charlie’s Lanes.
Ribardi led Central Catholic with games of 171 and 198. Other top Central Catholic bowlers were Majewski (165) and McNemar (163).
Last week, Central Catholic defeated South Lafourche 19.5-7.5 at Creole Lanes in Houma Feb. 3.
Majewski led Central Catholic with a 181 game. Other top Central Catholic bowlers were Ribardi with a 171 game and McNemar with a 163 contest.
Lady Tigers win
match this week
The Morgan City Lady Tigers won their lone match this week, defeating Terrebonne Wednesday in nondistrict play 20-7 at Charlie’s Lanes in Morgan City.
Juliet Thibodeaux led Morgan City with a 593 series with games of 176, 174 and 243. Other top Morgan City bowlers were as follows: Darling Caranza, 169; Aymie Pearce, 153; and Kameron Patureau, 150.
Last week, Morgan City split their matches, falling to H.L. Bourgeois in nondistrict play and defeating Berwick in district action.
On Feb. 3, Morgan City lost to H.L. Bourgeois 16-11 at Charlie’s Lanes.
Thibodeaux led Morgan City with games of 165 and 154, while Patureau added a 158 game.
On Feb. 5, Morgan City defeated Berwick 26-1 at Charlie’s Lanes.
Thibodeaux led Morgan City with a 645 series, with games of 158, 255 and 232. Other top Morgan City bowlers were as follows: Pearce (168), Montana Pillaro (160, 169), Patureau (166, 161) and Caranza (160).
Lady Eagles split games
The Central Catholic Lady Eagles split their games this week, falling to H.L. Bourgeois Monday and defeating Houma Christian Wednesday.
Monday, Central Catholic fell to H.L. Bourgeois 18-9 at Charlie’s Lanes in Morgan City.
Emily Price led Central Catholic with a 524 series, including games of 187 and 201. Other top Central Catholic bowlers were Jolie Boudreaux (173), Alanni Landry (162) and Julianna Hernandez (153).
Wednesday, Central Catholic defeated Houma Christian 25-2 at Charlie’s Lanes.
Price led Central Catholic with a 600 series, with games of 233, 194 and 173. Other top Central Catholic bowlers were as follows: Chloe Estay (192), Boudreaux (156, 190, 152) and Sara Thibodeaux (166, 154).

Lady Panthers fall
to Terrebonne
The Berwick Lady Panthers fell to Terrebonne 23.5-3.5 in their lone match of the week Monday at Creole Lanes in Houma.
Jaci Lynch led Berwick with games of 196 and 150.
Last week, the Berwick Lady Panthers finished 0-2, falling to in nondistrict play Ellender and to Morgan City in district action.
Berwick fell to Morgan City 26-1 in girls bowling action at Charlie’s Lanes in Morgan City on Feb. 5.
Lynch led Berwick with games of 151 and 179.
On Feb. 3, Berwick fell to Ellender 23-4 at Charlie’s Lanes.
Lynch led Berwick with a 507 series, with games of 150, 169 and 188.
