A 30-year-old Franklin man was caught Tuesday after Morgan City police found he had been in possession of a stolen boat, Police Chief James Blair said in a news release.
Detectives are seeking the public's help identifying a suspect seen in these surveillance photos and believed to be involved in a burglary on Verdunville Road near the intersection of Francine Road in Verdunville. A deputy collected evidence that the suspect broke a glass door, entered the home, and stole a purse. The deputy obtained surveillance of the suspect. The crime occurred around 3 a.m. Sunday.
