August 9, 1985 - March 29, 2018
Whitney William Hull, a resident of Charenton, passed away unexpectedly at the young age of 32 in the early morning hours of Thursday, March 29, 2018. Whitney was born in Lafayette on August 9, 1985. He was a welder by trade as well as a hard worker. Whitney was also a great barber even though he didn’t go to barber school, cutting all of his friend’s hair and their children as well. He was a fun-loving guy who enjoyed joking around and making people smile. He was generous and kind-hearted and would give you the shirt off his back. But what was most important was his family whom he deeply loved.
Those he leaves to cherish his memory include his mother, Christine Ann Hull; his son, Phoenix William Hull; his brother, Jeremy Joseph Hull; his nephew, Jeremy Joseph Hull Jr.; his aunts, Tammy M. Hull, Debora H. Burke and her husband Eddy, Margaret H. DeRise and her husband Mark, Myra K. Russo, Susan K. Richards and her husband Michael, and Sandra K. Gomez; his uncles, Donald E. Hull Jr., Mitchell Krepper, and David Krepper; as well as numerous cousins and family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Whitney William Krepper Jr.; his maternal grandparents, Donald E. Hull Sr. and Antoinette (Nettie) Thibodeaux Hull; his paternal grandparents, Whitney William Krepper Sr. and Nettie Moss Krepper; and his cousins, Pamela M. Burke and Ashley Russo.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, April 2, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville beginning at 9 a.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 a.m. Following the Mass, Whitney will be laid to rest in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Father Ruben Primor will be the Celebrant for the Mass and conduct the services.
