ANDREW ADAM LINER

Funeral services for Andrew Adam Liner will be held Thursday, December 7, 2017, at 2 p.m. in the Church of the Assumption in Franklin. Following the Mass of Christian Burial, Mr. Liner will be laid to rest in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Mausoleum in Baldwin. Father Lloyd Benoit will conduct the services. Shaun Liner, Jason Liner, Kevin Liner, Lance Strubb, Matthew Strubb, and Jonathan Stovall will serve as pallbearers. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at Ibert’s Mortuary beginning at 10 a.m., with the rosary being prayed at 1 p.m. and dismissal at 1:30 p.m.
Mr. Liner was born in Houma on April 6, 1925, the second of fifteen children born to the late Arthur Liner and the late Liza Blum Liner, and died Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Franklin Foundation Hospital. Many will remember him from his many years with St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office where he worked in the Water Patrol Division, and from his years as local Nuisance Officer for Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries.
Those he leaves to cherish his memory include his three children Andrea Liner Strubb of Franklin, Patrick Mulcahey (husband Patrick) of Skamania WA, and David Jon Liner of St. Francisville; five grandchildren, Jason Liner (wife Sarah) of Franklin, Misty Strubb Stovall (fiancé Todd Kidder and Todd’s son Cameron) of Franklin, Lance Strubb (wife Natalie) of Franklin, Shaun Liner (wife Amanda) of Franklin, Kevin Liner (wife Gracie) of Baton Rouge, as well as Tonya LeBlanc (husband Trenton, their children Tyson and Londyn) of Maurice and Macie Broussard of Baldwin, both raised as grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, Matthew Strubb, Jonathan Stovall, Asa and Bella Strubb, Micah, Emme, and Rexx Liner, Addison Liner, as well as a ninth great-grandchild to be born in May; six siblings, Wilda Moreau, Annie Lott (husband Gerald), Eileen Liner, Roy Liner (wife Norma), Beverly Valdes (husband Hugo), and Gladys Henry (husband Louis); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and their families.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Achee Liner; his parents, Arthur Liner and Liza Blum Liner; and eight siblings, Collins Liner (and wife Marie), Joseph Liner (infant), Beatrice Vidrine (and husband Joe), Raymond Liner Sr. (and wife Myrna), James Liner, J.C. Liner, Golden Liner, and Karl Liner.
