The No. 19 Nicholls State University football team saw its season come to a close in the second round of the FCS playoffs as the Colonels fell to No.

For the third straight year, the Nicholls State University football team will be hosting an opening round FCS playoff game as the Colonels welcome North Dakota to Manning Field at John L.
