Morgan City drops two games with South Terrebonne

Morgan City High School dropped two District 7-4A contests with South Terrebonne this weekend as the squad fell 1-0 Friday in Bourg and 5-1 Saturday in Morgan City.

MCHS beats Assumption, clinches share of district title

Morgan City High School clinched a share of the District 7-4A title with a 2-0 victory against Assumption in the Lady Tigers’ district finale in Morgan City Thursday.

Pitre tosses two-hit shutout as MCHS wins

Freshman Chris Pitre tossed a two-hit shutout, and Morgan City defeated South Terrebonne, 8-0, in District 7-4A action in Morgan City Thursday.

The Morgan City High School Lady Tiger bowling team will be looking to cap its season with a state championship when it hits the lanes Friday at the state's Final Four at the Raisin Cane's River Center in Baton Rouge. Morgan City will meet Central of Baton Rouge at 11 a.m. in a rematch of last year's finals.
