Area businesses help with Puerto Rico recovery

Some Tri-City area businesses are doing work to help bring vital infrastructure back to Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria devastated the U.S. territory and island in September.

Becky Kiffe donates items Tuesday during the Food for Families Food Drive at Whitney Bank in Morgan City. The drive, which benefits St. Mary Outreach, continues until 7 p.m. Tuesday. Food For Families Food Drive began at 7 a.m. Tuesday and will last until 7 p.m. Tuesday, at Whitney Bank, 1100 Brashear Ave. in Morgan City.
