VIP Party and Ribbon-Cutting was held Nov. 28 to mark the completion of the newly rebuilt and technically modern Bayou Vista McDonald’s. The restaurant opened to the public on Nov. 29. Two people have been accused of stealing roughly $5,000 worth of alcohol and cigarettes from a Morgan City store, Police Chief James Blair said in a news release.
