South Louisiana Community College’s leaders praised the Hugh and Byrnes Young Foundation’s contributions over the last 20 years.

The veterans memorial near Morgan City Hall makes a poignant point about the cost of war. To observe Memorial Day, VFW Post 4222 will have a ceremony from 11 a.m.-noon Monday at Morgan City Cemetery to honor all deceased veterans.
