MCHS girls bowling team finishes the week 2-0

The Morgan City High School girls bowling team finished the week 2-0, defeating Terrebonne and E.D. White.
Monday, Morgan City de-feated Terrebonne 21-6 at Charlie’s Lanes in Morgan City.
Juliet Thibodeaux led Morgan City with a 551 series (216, 176, 159), while Mackenzie Amador had a 513 series (219, 159). Kameron Patureau added a 499 series (152, 201).
Wednesday, Morgan City defeated E.D. White 25-2 at Creole Lanes in Houma.
Thibodeaux led Morgan City with a 572 series (233, 169, 170). Other top Morgan City bowlers were Amador with a 482 series (154, 180) and Patureau with a 216 game.
On Feb. 20, Morgan City defeated H.L. Bourgeois 21-6 at Creole Lanes.
Thibodeaux led Morgan City with a 570 series (168, 205, 197), while Amador and Myllah Brown had games of 157 and 153, respectively.
On Feb. 18, Morgan City defeated Houma Christian 23-4.
Thibodaux led Morgan City with a 668 series (200, 256, 212), while Amador had a 538 series (199, 154, 185). Other top Morgan City bowlers were Patureau with a 483 series (196) and Aymie Pearce with a 153 game.
Lady Eagles are 2-0
Central Catholic finished the week with a 2-0 mark, defeating Houma Christian and H.L. Bourgeois.
Monday, Central Catholic defeated Houma Christian 25-2.
Emily Price led Central Catholic with a 451 series (162, 150). Other top Central Catholic bowlers were Ashley Daigle (181), Sara Thibodeaux (179); Jolie Boudreaux (155, 155) and Marina Duval (154).
Wednesday, Central Catholic defeated H.L. Bourgeois 15-12 at Creole Lanes.
Price led Central Catholic with a 484 series (160, 159, 165). Other Central Catholic bowlers were Thibodeaux with a 458 series (177) and Julianna Hernandez, a 166 game.
On Feb. 18, Central Catholic defeated Berwick 26-1 at Charlie’s Lanes.
Thibodaux led Central Catholic with a 506 series (232, 168), while Price had a 502 series (169, 194). Jolie Boudreaux added games of 153 and 158 for Central Catholic.
On Feb. 20, Central Catholic defeated Houma Christian 16-11 at Creole Lanes.
Emily Price led Central Catholic with a 522 series (178, 153, 191), while Ashley Daigle had games of 158 and 169.
Berwick falls
The Berwick Lady Pan-thers fell to Central Catholic 26-1 at Charlie’s Lanes Feb. 18.
Jaci Lynch led Berwick with games of 151 and 175.
Eagles drop two games
Central Catholic finished the week 0-2, falling to Houma Christian and H.L. Bourgeois.
Monday, Central Catholic fell to Houma Christian 24-3.
Dustin Hebert led Central Catholic with a 176 game, while Ethan Majewski had games of 162 and 170.
Wednesday, Central Catholic fell to H.L. Bourgeois 24-3 at Creole Lanes.
Majewski led Central Catholic with a 487 series (197). Owen DeHart added a 200 game and Dayshon Pete, a 163 contest.
On Feb. 18, Central Catholic fell to Berwick 24-3.
Koen Guillory had a high game of 151 for Central Catholic.
On Feb. 20, Central Catholic fell 21-6 to South Lafourche at Creole Lanes.
Hebert led Central Catholic with a 175 game, while DeHart had a 166 game and Majewski, a 163 contest.
Panthers win
The Berwick High School Panthers defeated Central Catholic 24-3 at Charlie’s Lanes in Morgan City Feb. 20.
Isaiah Williams led Ber-wick with a 590 series (233, 170, 187). Other top games for Berwick bowlers were Cameron Kelly (191), Scott Price (188), Kyle Valdez (180) and Micah Lodrigue (160).
Tigers fall
The Morgan City Tigers fell to Houma Christian 23-4 on Feb. 18.
Devin Mayon led Morgan City with a 212 game, while Ryan Armond had games of 184 and 189 and Devin Hi-dalgo, a 188 game.
