Patterson defeats Jeanerette 48-35

The Patterson Lumberjacks defeated the Jeanerette Tigers 48-35 at Patterson Tuesday.

Hanson defeats Berwick

The Berwick Lady Panthers dropped their home opener to Hanson Memorial 47-23 Tuesday.

Berwick High alum Brie Hill finished her volleyball career at Nicholls this year. As a a senior, she led the squad with 222 kills and was second in blocks with 45. Hill will graduate next month with a degree in Psychology and again in May with a degree in Pre- Law. Above, she hits the ball during a match this season against the University of New Orleans. It wasn’t the greatest season, wins and losses-wise, for the Nicholls volleyball team this season, but individually, senior right side/outside hitter Brie Hill had a successfully final campaign.
