Mitchell Sanford and Alyssa Gray were named Berwick High School prom king and queen during the prom Saturday. Gray is the daughter of Karen and Daniel Gray.

St. Mary Parish AARP Chapter 4435 held its monthly meeting on Feb. 4 at the St. Mary Senior Citizens Center, home of St. Mary AARP, in Morgan City.
Yani Johnson, 23, had a standout game for the Central Catholic Lady Eagles Friday night at home. CCHS defeated the Hanson Memorial Lady Tigers 59-51 in the back-and-forth contest. Johnson had 24 points to lead Central.
