Woman accused of using high-heeled shoe in bar fight
MORGAN CITY, La. --Two women were arrested at Judy’s Lounge in Morgan City after they got into a physical altercation Wednesday night during which one woman struck the other woman with a high-heeled shoe.
Shanna Orgeron, 19, of Marigny Circle in Duson, was arrested at 11:42 p.m. Wednesday for disturbing the peace by fighting.
Tiffany Randolph, 23, of U.S. 90 East in Morgan City, was arrested at 11:42 p.m. Wednesday for aggravated battery and on a warrant for theft.
A deputy responded to a complaint of a fight at Judy’s Lounge in Morgan City. Upon arrival the deputy learned that two female subjects, identified as Randolph and Orgeron, were involved in a physical altercation.
According to witnesses of the fight, Randolph and Orgeron were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical fight. During the encounter, Randolph struck Orgeron in the head with a high heel shoe. Orgeron was treated by Acadian Ambulance personnel. Both were taken to the parish jail and held. No bail is set for Randolph. Orgeron’s bail is set at $250.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrest:
Brock Michael Kirkland, 21, of Pluto Street in Bayou Vista, was arrested 7:29 a.m. Wednesday for disturbing the peace by using foul language, threatening a public official, and resisting an officer.
A deputy patrolling the Bayou Vista area responded to a complaint requesting the removal of a subject at the address listed above. Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with the subject identified as Kirkland.
During the investigation, Kirkland yelled at a female victim in an aggressive manner, repeatedly screamed profanities at the deputy, and made threats toward the deputy. Kirkland was taken to the parish jail and held. He was released on a $2,250 bail.
