Williams-LaCoste wed April 13
Amanda Elizabeth Williams and Paul LaCoste III were united in matrimony April 13 in a 4 p.m. double-ring ceremony at Immanuel Baptist Church in Morgan City. The Rev. William Parsons officiated.
The bride is the daughter of the late Perry and Theresa Williams. The groom is the son of Paul LaCoste Jr. of Morgan City and the late Cathy LaCoste.
Escorted in marriage by her godfather, Jude Aucoin, the bride wore an ivory satin gown designed with lace cap sleeves. Her empire bodice was overlaid with lace that was adorned with intricate beading of crystals and pearls and featured an illusion back. The train was chapel length.
Her bouquet of ivory roses and hydrangeas was completed with charm pictures of her late parents, her late Grandmother Joan Breaux, late godmother Ruth Aucoin and late Uncle Alan Breaux Sr.
Jennifer Dinger was her sister’s matron of honor. She wore a short dress of crinkle chiffon. Maid of honor was Bridgete Pierron, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Savannah Wilkinson, Kathleen Crochet, Kim Pitts, Elizabeth Olivier and Madison Dinger, daughter of the bride. The maid of honor and bridesmaids wore short wisteria-colored dresses in varying styles.
They carried bouquets of ivory and purple hydrangeas.
Zoe Wilkinson served as flower girl. Ringbearers were Hendrix Falgout, godchild of the bride and Campbell Klenert, son of the groom.
Randy Pardo Jr. was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Jeffrey Matherne, Austin Alfred, Derek Ribardi, Jason Pye, Gerald Crochet and Kade Williams, son of the bride.
Ushers were Mark Aucoin, Bruce Pierron, Shane Scully and Alton Pisani.
A reception followed at the St. Mary Senior Citizens Center in Morgan City. The center was decorated with wisteria and lights.
The wedding cake was a four-tiered confection with buttercream icing and almond-flavored cake. Fillings included banana, pecan praline, coconut and strawberry. A floral design cascaded down the side of the cake. Topping the confection was wooden carvings that resembled the bride and groom.
The groom’s “funfetti” cake was iced in buttercream and depicted the New York Yankee’s baseball field with an alligator wearing the team’s hat.
Helping with hospitalities were Lynne Pierron and Brian Melancon.
The bride is a 2000 graduate of Morgan City High School. She is an accounts payable clerk at Tidewater Marine in Amelia.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Morgan City High. He is an air conditioning technician with PMR in Morgan City.
They honeymooned in Castries, St. Lucia and reside in Morgan City.
