Whitney Bank and A.J. Dohmann finish with 12-12 tie

MORGAN CITY — Whitney Bank and A.J. Dohmann played to a 12-12 tie in Morgan City Recreation Department Minor League action Tuesday at Spinella Park.

Kris Prejeant, Blake Peterson and Tyler Stewart all finished 3-for-3 for Whitney Bank, while Seth Baham and Brayden Alcina each were 2-for-2. Other contributors included Robert Blanchard, Zack Billiot, Thomas Carter and Ty Russo, all 2-for-3; Gary Nicar, 1-for-2; and Karson Nelson and Bryson Dupre, each 1-for-3.

Tate Aucoin finished 4-for-4 to lead A.J. Dohmann, while Caleb O’Con and Dominic Case each were 3-for-4. Other contributors included Angelo Viscardi, Gage Patureau and Aidan Gowan, each 2-for-3; and Bryson Roy, 1-for-3.

Rapid Trucking 15,

Scully’s 0

TyJon Folse and Tylon Mobley each finished 3-for-3 for A.J. Dohmann, while Dylan Duval, Domondrick Blackburn, Michael Jones, Howard Kinchen and Elijah Brown each were 2-for-3. JaQuan Gray, Keegan Lane, Drake Hue and Ramye Jones all were 1-for-3 in the contest.

Cameron LaCoste and Ben Lewis each were 2-for-2 for Scully’s.

Taco Bell/KFC 7,

Ocean Marine 4

Brett Morrell fanned 10 on the mound and had two hits at the plate as Taco Bell/KFC defeated Ocean Marine in City League action Tuesday at Complex Park.

Morrell earned the win as he allowed four runs on five hits with five walks in five innings of work.

At the plate, he finished 2-for-3 with a triple, an RBI and two runs.

Other contributors for Taco Bell/KFC included Gunner Theriot, two runs and an RBI; Hugh Hamer, an RBI and a run; and Amarea Christopher and Justin Atkins, each a run.

For Ocean Marine, Trent Hillen tossed a two-hitter with nine strikeouts and drove in three of Ocean Marine’s four runs.

Hillen pitched five innings; while at the plate, he was 2-for-2 with a double, three RBIs and a run.

Other Ocean Marine contributors included Dylan Mayon, 1-for-2, a run; and Randy Fontenot and Alex Boudreaux, each 1-for-3 with a run.

Charlie’s Lanes 15,

Gator Rigging 2

Three members of Charlie’s Lanes homered in the squad’s 15-2 victory against Gator Rigging in City League action at Complex Park Tuesday.

Brayden Landry, Jackson Butler and Travon Batiste all connected on home runs in the win.

Landry finished 2-for-2 with a triple, two runs and two RBIs, while Butler was 1-for-1 with three RBIs and two runs and Batiste, 1-for-2 with two RBIs and two runs.

Other top contributors included Joseph Gilmore, 2-for-2, a triple, two RBIs and a run; Zachary Bennett, 2-for-2, two doubles, an RBI and a run; Spencer Hebert, 1-for-2, an RBI and a run; Zander Ledet, Dylan Cornes and Tyjay Batiste, each two runs; and Tyrese Batiste, a run.

Ethan Blanco finished 1-for-1 with an RBI for Gator Rigging, while Collin Crappell was 1-for-2 with an RBI and Keegan Lodrigue and Colby Howard each scored a run.

Gator Rigging 15,

Lafayette Electric 5

Luke Felterman homered and collected five RBIs as Gator Rigging improved to 12-1 in 11- and 12-year-old action with the win against Lafayette Electric at the Bayou Vista Civic Center Tuesday.

Gator Rigging scored six runs in the top of the first inning, including Felterman’s three-run, out-of-the-park home run.

Felterman finished 3-for-4 with a double and three runs, while Cruiz Crawford was 3-for-3 with two doubles, two RBIs and two runs.

Other top contributors included Zeph Hoffpauir, 3-for-4, a double, two RBIs and three runs; Adam Askew, 3-for-4, a double, an RBI and two runs; and Ian Valdez, 3-for-4, an RBI.

On the mound, Caleb Daigle earned the win. In two innings, he surrendered two hits, a walk and fanned one.

Shayne Berger took the loss for Lafayette Electric, while he led the squad at the plate with a 1-for-3 performance with a triple and three RBIs. Other top contributors for Lafayette Electric included Stephen Theriot, 2-for-4, a run; and Michael Aucoin, 1-for-1, a run.

With the win, Gator Rigging improves to 12-1.
