VOLLYEBALL: Lumberjills swept at home by Vandebilt

The Patterson volleyball team was swept in three games 3-0 (8-25, 9-25, 9-25) on Tuesday against Vandebilt Catholic.

Caitlyn Fontenot had a team-high eight digs with three kills and a block; Kaylan Johnson had five assists, three digs and a kill; Katelyn Sonnier had six digs; Carli McIntyre had four digs; Kasey Stratton had five digs; Keisha Kinchen had two digs and a kill; Carissa Fontenot had two assists and an ace; and Jessica Decuir had two kills.

The Lumberjills’ junior varsity lost 2-0 (25-7, 25-6).

MCHS junior varsity and freshmen fall at home

The MCHS junior varsity lost to Ellender 2-0 (17-25, 20-25).

Taylor Prince had four aces, two digs and an assist; Tyler Hebert had an ace, a kill and a dig; Layne Reynaud had an assist and a dig; Kloe’ Liner had three kills, two digs and a block assist; Morgan Bailey had nine digs, two kills and a block assist; Savannah Loupe had 11 digs and a kill; and Chandler Pasqua had seven digs.

The Lady Tigers freshmen lost 2-1 (25-20, 25-27, 4-15) to Ellender.

Brandi Ingram had three aces and a dig; Elizabeth Businelle had five assists, two kills and two aces; Celestina Williams had four digs, three aces and two kills; Hebert had three digs, an ace and a kill; Jaiveianna Jones had two kills, a dig and an ace; LeeAnne Price had seven digs and an assist; and Sky Acosta had a kill.
