Vehicles show slated in MC for Brittany Project
A fundraiser show of many different styles of vehicles will be held for the Brittany Project on Sept. 21 at Lirette Ford in Morgan City.
Revenues will go toward construction of a recreational camp facility that will offer individuals with disabilities a social network.
This facility will be built on a portion of the former Oaklawn Sugar Mill site property in Franklin. All proceeds from the show will go toward the project.
Pre-registration is $25 and $30 at the gate.
Motorcycles, rat rods, cars and trucks will be on hand. There will be 75 total awards, a live auction, bands, craft venders and food.
The event is hosted by Lirette Ford and the South East Louisiana Bayou Mustang Club.

Participants who pre-register will receive a gift bag and T-shirt.
There will be a cruise Friday evening departing from Lirette Ford, 6310 U.S. 90, by police escort at 6 p.m. and ending at Tampico’s in Morgan City.
Brittany’s Project is a nonprofit organization in Franklin which sponsors activities such as summer camp, support groups and more.
