Our family chain has been broken once again. On Monday, May 14, 2012, we had to say goodbye to our dear sister, who was generous and caring, and always there with a helping hand.

Twanda Denise Parker, 43, a native of Franklin and a resident of Adelanto, California, died at her residence following a battle with cancer. She was born on September 5, 1968 to the union of the late Timothy Parker Sr. and Rebecca Parker Foster.

After graduating from Hanson Memorial School in Franklin, Twanda attended and graduated from Ms. Wade Fashion & Merchandise School in Dallas, Texas, with a degree in fashion.

Cherishing warm and fond memories of her earthly stay are her family: children, Miles and Arionte’ Davis of Adelanto, California; four sisters, Janice Wiggins of Franklin, Redina Jones of Miami, Florida, Angela Jones of Abbeville and Felicia Polidore (Gerald Sr.) of Bossier City; and one brother, Timothy Parker Jr. of Lafayette.

Twanda was preceded in death by her parents, Timothy Parker Sr. and Rebecca Parker Foster; and grandparents, Rufus and Elnora Parker Sr. and Samuel and Bessie Jones.

The family wishes to express the many acts of expressions of kindness and love you have extended during this remorseful period. The family will have a memorial at a later date.
