She was born into a large and loving family and passed on to her own family that the most important things in life are loving and caring for those you hold dear, and helping and showing kindness to all.

As a younger woman, her passion was dancing, and fishing was her favorite pastime. She had a green thumb and loved to grow and admire flowers and plants. Her life will be celebrated with fond memories and the laughter she brought to the lives she touched.

She worshiped at Covenant Methodist Church in Lafayette. She considered the members of Covenant her church family, and she loved her pastor, the Rev. Chris Blanchard, and associate pastor, Byron Aucoin. She loved going to church on Sundays and spending time with the family after. The family sincerely appreciates the Covenant Methodist Church and the special caregivers at Camelot.
