The Morgan City Tigers began their season with a bang as the Tigers defeated Terrebonne, 1-0 at Tiger Stadium Thursday.

CCHS wins tourney opener

squad 62-39. Central Catholic will conclude its play in the round-robin with two games today, one at 4 p.m. against Westgate and again at 7 p.m. against Patterson. Patterson also will play a single game Saturday against Terrebonne.

Terrebonne 72-64 in the Terrebonne Tiger Classic. The Tigers will play today and Saturday, both at 5 p.m., against H.L. Bourgeois and South Lafourche, respectively.
