When devils walked: Editor writes about Klan killings

Author and newspaper editor Stanley Nelson at a recent book-signing for his new book, “Devils Walking” on the KKK violence in east central Louisiana and southwestern Mississippi during the 1960s.

Weekly newspaper editor and now author Stanley Nelson of the Concordia Sentinel in Ferriday, has dedicated nearly a decade to telling the stories of eight black people murdered by the Ku Klux Klan.
