Patterson, Morgan City win all-star district openers

Patterson and Morgan City both earned wins on the first night of the District 3-AA (8U) Tournament Wednesday at Kemper Williams Park near Patterson.

SMC defeats Morgan City twice to win district crown

St. Mary Central’s 10-year-old All-Stars won the District 3 Championship Tuesday after defeating Morgan City twice. St. Mary Central won by scores of 5-2 and 16-6 in five innings.
