The Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association hosted the St. Jude’s Spring Horseshoe Fundraiser held at Kemper Williams Park near Patterson.
Area horseshoe pitchers placed in Classes A, B and C.
In Class A, O.J. Cole of Centerville placed second with a 5-2 mark and a ringer percentage of 34.1, while Tim Gilmore of Bayou Vista was third with a 5-2 mark and a 50.8 ringer percentage. Sharla Fontenot of Lacassine won Class A with a 6-1 mark and a 39 percent ringer clip.
In Class B, Glenn Miller of Belle River took first place with a 7-0 mark and a 34.6 ringer percentage, while Jimmy Percle of Morgan City was second with a 6-1 mark and a 38.3 ringer percentage and Clay Canty of Morgan City was third with a 4-3 mark and a 23.7 ringer percentage.
In Class C, Ryan Fryou of Berwick was first with a 6-1 mark and a 19.1 ringer percentage, while Tracy Verret of Bayou Vista was third with a 5-2 mark and a 17.1 ringer percentage. Bill Seither of Buras was second with a 5-2 mark and a 28.8 ringer percentage.
