Luke Barbier surrendered two hits and fanned 14 as KFC/Taco Bell defeated Offshore Hammers in Morgan City Dixie Youth action Monday.
Barbier pitched six innings and allowed a run and walked four.
Offensively, he was 1-for-3 with a run.
Brett Morrell finished 2-for-3 with a run for KFC/Taco Bell, while Braxton Fontenot was 1-for-2 with three RBIs and a run and Cade Booty, 1-for-3, three RBIs.
Other contributors included Javin Taylor, 1-for-3, and Austin Blair, Grant Cheramie and Joseph Madison, each a run.
Kyle Ring finished 1-for-3 with a double for Offshore Hammers, while Grant Stansbury was 1-for-3 with a run.

In a scrimmage, Johnny’s Propeller topped Morgan City Rentals 7-0.
Gilbert Johnson finished 2-for-2 with three RBIs and a run, while Taylor Blanchard was 1-for-1 with a triple, an RBI and a run.
William Larocca was 1-for-1 with two runs; Kade Pichoff, 1-for-2, a run; and Michael-Anthony Hill and Zack Bennett, each had a run.
Charlie’s Lanes 16,
Gator Riggings 6
Brayden Landry finished 4-for-4, hit for the cycle and recorded six RBIs as Charlie’s Lanes defeated Gator Riggings in City League action in Morgan City Friday.
In addition to his single, double, triple and home run, Landry also scored four runs.
Dylan Cornes also hit a home run in the win, finishing 2-for-3 with a double, four RBIs and a run, while Spenser Hebert was 2-for-2 with a double, a triple, two RBIs and four runs.
Other contributors for Charlie’s Lanes were Caleb O’con, 2-for-2, two runs; Jevin Taylor, 1-for-3; Jason Huang, two runs; and Treyvion Charles, Michael Jones and Gage Patureau, each had a run.
Makhi Branton led Gator Riggings with a 1-for-4 performance with a triple, an RBI and a run, while Gary Nicar was 1-for-3 with two RBIs.

Tate Matherne doubled and collected three RBIs as Skipper’s Sporting Goods defeated Ocean Marine, 10-3, in City League action in Morgan City Friday.
Matherne finished 2-for-3 and scored two runs, while Vernon Singleton was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs and Nasiah Bennett, 2-for-3, a double, an RBI and a run.
Other contributors for Skipper’s were Trent Hall, 1-for-2, an RBI; Nick Black, 1-for-3, two RBIs; Tate Aucoin, 1-for-2, two runs; Drew Rock, 1-for-3, two runs; Justin Adkins, 1-for-3; and Dominic Case, a run.

Mahki Branton homered and recorded three RBIs, while also striking out three in Gator Rigging’s 6-3 with against Ocean Marine in City League action May 22 in Morgan City.
Branton finished 1-for-2 and scored a run, while on the mound, Branton pitched an inning of relief and allowed no runs or hits and walked three.
Kris Prejean led Gator Riggings with a 1-for-2 performance with a run, while Caleb Menina was 1-for-2 with a double. Gary Nicar, Blake Peterson and Carson Meador each scored a run.
Randy Fontenot was 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run to lead Ocean Marine, while Ty Rebardi and Keegan Lane each scored a run.
