Shirley May LeBlanc

July 25, 1935 — April 11, 2012

Shirley May LeBlanc, 76, a native of Jeanerette and resident of Berwick, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at Morgan City Health Unit.

Shirley enjoyed life. She listened to music, went dancing, loved playing cards and enjoyed relaxing and watching westerns on television. She was so loved by her family and friends and will be truly missed.

Shirley is survived by her five sons, Gerald Myers and wife Dori of Franklin, Nelson “Noonie” Daigle and wife Barbara of Morgan City, Darrell Daigle Sr. of Morgan City, Ernest “Foot” Daigle of Morgan City and Billy LeBlanc of Berwick; two daughters, Frances Daigle and companion Frank of Berwick and Penny Daigle and companion Teddy Ballard of Berwick; 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Fernand and Lenore Myers; her first husband, Marshall Daigle; three brothers and one sister.

Visitation was today, Friday, April 13, 2012, at Twin City Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until noon with a service following. She was laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
