Sheriff's Office arrests one for Friday assault of deputy
An attempted assault on a sheriff’s deputy was one of 11 arrests made by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office over the weekend.
Danny K. Wade Sr., 61, of Southwest Boulevard, Bayou Vista, was arrested Friday at 7:41 p.m. for disturbing the peace intoxicated and simple assault on a police officer. A deputy was called to Wade’s home in reference to a disturbance. Wade attempted to hit the deputy, Sheriff Mark Hebert said, then was taken into custody and booked into the parish jail with a $500 bond and released.
Also arrested by the sheriff’s office were:
—Tracey M. Guillory, 40, of Southeast Boulevard, Bayou Vista, arrested Saturday at 1:33 a.m. for disturbing the peace intoxicated. Booked into the parish jail with a $250 bond and later released.
—Ronald Robinson, 43, of Southeast Boulevard, Bayou Vista, arrested Saturday at 4:02 a.m. for simple assault. Booked into the parish jail with a $250 bond at this time.
—Kristina Arias, 31, of Grandwood Drive, Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 6:21 a.m. for domestic abuse battery. Booked into the parish jail with a $1,000 bond and later released.
—Allison M. Thompson, 20, of Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, and two female juveniles, 15 and 12, were arrested Saturday at 9:51 p.m. for theft by shoplifting at Walmart; Thompson was also charged with contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. Thompson was booked into the parish jail with a $2,000 bond; the two juveniles were processed and released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.
—Ronald J. Winslow Sr., 42, of Ciro Street, Morgan City, arrested Sunday at 1:51 a.m. for disturbing the peace intoxicated. Booked into the parish jail with a $250 bond.
—Adam W. Roy, 25, of Hwy. 182, Bayou Vista, arrested Sunday at noon on a warrant for failure to comply with terms and conditions of probation. Booked into the parish jail with no bond.
—Craig C. Watts, 49, of Friendship Alley, Amelia, arrested Sunday at 6:25 p.m. for disturbing the peace intoxicated. Booked into the parish jail with a $250 bond.
—Antonio M. Campbell, 24, of Canal Road, Bayou Vista, arrested Sunday at 10:08 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on the charge of operating a vehicle without a license. Booked into the parish jail with a $329.50 cash bond.
The following were arrested by the Morgan City Police Department over the weekend:
—Kirk D. Lantier, 50, of Orange, Texas, arrested Friday at 6:25 p.m. near the corner of Front and Everett streets for disturbing the peace intoxicated and urinating in public. Remains incarcerated.
—Christopher C. Thompson, 26, of Ocean Springs, Miss., arrested Saturday at 1:53 a.m. on Justa Street at Allison Street for reckless operation of a motor vehicle and disturbing the peace by fighting. Released on bond.
—Jairo Molina Jr., 26, of Lake Palourde Road, Morgan City, arrested Saturday at 5:17 p.m. on Federal Avenue at Lawrence Street on charges of an outstanding city court warrant for failure to appear, no insurance, and resisting an officer by giving a false name. Released on bond.
—Thomas J. Aucoin Jr., 33, of Pierre Part, arrested Friday at 11:30 p.m. on La. 182 at Ditch Avenue for disturbing the peace intoxicated and entry or remaining after forbidden. Released on bond.
—Ebony P. Francois, 30, of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, Patterson, arrested Saturday at 6:57 p.m. at Brownell Homes for simple battery. Released on bond.
—Traylon A. Grogan, 20, of Mallard Street, Morgan City, arrested Sunday at 2 a.m. at Dixie Homes for entry or remaining on premises after forbidden. Released on bond.
In a traffic stop Saturday evening on Como Street in Patterson, the Patterson Police Department arrested three on possession of marijuana charges.
—Willis Vidrine, 22, of Como Street, Patterson. He was also charged with intent to distribute.
—Edward Butler, 23, of Cleveland Street, Patterson.
—Lawrence Edwards, 23, of Live Oak, Patterson.
All three remain incarcerated waiting on bond.
