Schram-LaGrange wed in double-ring ceremony
Amanda Nicole Schram and Blake Henry LaGrange exchanged wedding vows April 28 during a 6:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Lake Charles. The Rev. Brian King officiated and was assisted by Deacon Andrew Dragna.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Schram of Lake Charles. Mr. and Mrs. Henry “Bo” LaGrange of Patterson are parents of the groom.
Escorted in marriage by her father, the bride wore a classic silk gown designed with a sweetheart neckline and chapel train embellished with beaded lace.
Gracing her head was an heirloom veil given to the bride by her mother.
She carried a spring bouquet of fresh peonies and garden roses with blush accents.
Sarah Schram was her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lisa Lombardo, Erin-Beth Hanks, Kaye Elder, Megan Bourriaque, sister of the groom, and Alex Taylor.
Grant LaGrange was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Reed Guzzetta, Bryan Harper, Stephen Caldwell, Austin Daigle and Clayton Broom.
Ushers were Michael Dragna, Ryan Bourriaque and Rhett Edwards.
A reception followed at the Lake Charles Country Club.
Prior to the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Pujo Street Café in Lake Charles.
The bride is a graduate of St. Louis High School and she earned a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication and master’s degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. She is employed in the mayor-president’s office for the City of Baton Rouge.
The groom is a graduate of Patterson High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from LSU and a master’s in Occupational Therapy from LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans. He is employed at Sage Rehabilitation Hospital.
They will reside in Baton Rouge following a honeymoon in Antigua, British West Indies.
