School Board to consider superintendent’s evaluation Thursday
The St. Mary Parish School Board meets Thursday to handle several items including its annual superintendent evaluation.
The meeting begins at 5 p.m. Thursday in the Central Office Complex in Centerville and is open to the public.
The evaluation of Superintendent Donald Aguillard will be done in executive session.
A legislative session update from Sen. Bret Allain, R-Franklin, and Rep. Sam Jones, D-Franklin, also is on the agenda.
Other items to be considered include:
—A proposed lunch price change for the coming school year.
—A request from the Morgan City Police Department for financial assistance to purchase a new drug dog.
—A pilot program to early release high school students for teacher department meetings.
—A resolution authorizing special legal counsel as needed regarding the upcoming tax election and associated Patterson Junior High School construction project.
