Samuel Guy Walters Jr.

Samuel Guy Walters Jr., a native of Yazoo City, Miss., and a resident of Patterson, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011, at Teche Regional Medical Center.
Guy was very active in his life. He was a franchise owner of the Independent International Wrestling Federation, a member of Citizens Band Radio known as “Outcast,” the owner and captain of the “Miss Prissy” shrimp boat and involved with Walters Trucking.
Guy is survived by his companion of many years, Christine Martin of Patterson; one son, Samuel G. Walters III of Yazoo City, Miss.; one daughter, Tammy Durapau Jenkins and her husband Chris of Yazoo City, Miss.; one brother, William Lee Walters of Winter Haven, Fla.; two sisters, Barbara Brown Dinger and her husband Bertrand of Baton Rouge, and Janice Brown Hebert and her husband Geary of Brookhaven, Miss.; six grandchildren, Oliver David III, Carolyn and Kayla Chislom, Mitchell Wayne, Leann and Joseph Jenkins, and Joshua Carpenter; seven great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Guy was preceded in death by his wife, Angelina Durapau Walters; mother and stepfather, Louise and Bobby Earl Brown; his father, Samuel Guy Walters Sr.; and two children, infant Charles Walters and Priscilla Walters Chislom.
Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. today, Friday, July 8, 2011, with a service beginning at 8 p.m.
