Red Ribbon arts, crafts show Nov. 9
The Red Ribbon Committee is currently making plans for the annual Fall Bazaar to be held on Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Patterson Civic Center from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Patrons can expect to choose from a variety of items available for purchase.
The annual fundraiser, with space for approximately 50 vendors, is sponsored by the parish Red Ribbon Committee. Proceeds go toward prevention activities, events and campaigns in St. Mary Parish. Booth space is on sale now for school clubs, churches, civic organizations, as well as individuals who want to raise money for their cause. A booth consists of three 8-foot long tables in a U-shape. The cost of a booth is $40.
Vendors may sell homemade items, garage sale items (with the exception of clothing), arts and crafts, antiques, baked goods and other items. Vendors pay for booth space and then keep all of the proceeds.
The event is held indoors. Booth space will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis. For information and/or a registration form contact Diane Wiltz at 337-836-9661.
There will be a $2 admission at the door for all adults, children under 10 will not be charged. Additionally concessions of hot dogs, hamburgers, chips and drinks will be sold by the Red Ribbon Committee. Organizers of the event say they believe this is a “win-win” event for both the committee and groups who participate.
