Rapid Trucking pounds Charlie's Lanes

Rapid Trucking pounded Charlie’s Lanes, 13-4, in City League action at Complex Park on Thursday.

In three innings of work, Grant Stansbury tossed a two-hitter, struck out nine and walked one. He recorded every out via strikeout during his three innings of work.

At the plate, Davidyione Bias led Rapid Trucking with a 2-for-2 performance with a double, three RBIs and two runs, while Kurvante Webb also finished 2-for-2 with a double and two runs.

Tylan Bennett, Thomas Myers and Stansbury all recorded an RBI and scored two runs each, while Jakari Carbin scored two runs, and Reed Lodrigue added a run.

For Charlie’s Lanes, Josiah Boudreaux led the way with a 2-for-2 performance with two RBIs, while Jackson Butler finished 1-for-2 with a run, and Devin Hidalgo and Kade Pichoff each scored a run.

Taco Bell 15,

Ocean Marine 4

Phillip Guarisco recorded two hits and drove in four to lead Taco Bell to a 15-4 victory against Ocean Marine Thursday at Complex Park.

Guarisco finished 2-for-2 and also scored a run in the victory.

Other Taco Bell players collecting hits included Austin Deshotel, 2-for-2 with two RBIs; Brett Morell, 1-for-2, two RBIs and two runs; Akaya Poole, 1-for-2, a double, two runs and an RBI; Dale Turner, 1-for-1, two RBIs and a run; Kytrell Grogan, two runs; and Amarea Christopher, Kye Hartley and Garrett Deshotel each scored a run.

On the mound, Gunner Theriot surrendered four runs on a hit, walked five and struck out six in three innings of work.

For Ocean Marine, Austin Blair and Alex Boudreaux each finished 1-for-2, with Blair adding an RBI and Boudreaux contributing two runs.

Other Ocean Marine contributors included Gilbert Johnson, an RBI and two runs; Shea Gaspard, an RBI; and Jhai Robinson and Anthony Griffin, a run each.

Scully’s 9, Candy Fleet 2

Ethan Blanchard finished 4-for-4 to lead Scully’s in its 9-2 victory against Candy Fleet in Minor League play Thursday.

Other Scully’s hitters included Hayden Landry, 3-for-4; Cameron LaCoste and Robbie Boudreaux, each 2-for-3; Ben Lewis, 2-for-4; William Skinner, 1-for-3; and Kyen Hayles, Keith Daigle, Dionte Stephens and Malachi Jones, all 1-for-4.

For Candy Fleet, Spencer Hebert finished 4-for-4; Drake Charpentier, Carsyn Meador and Peyton Rothell each finished 2-for-3; Logan Haines finished 1-for-3; and Richard Magann turned in a 1-for-4 performance.

Dragna Brothers 4,

Offshore Hammers 2

Dragna Brothers defeated Offshore Hammers, 4-2, in 11- and 12-year-old Dixie League action Wednesday at Complex Park.

Logan Tingle earned the win for Dragna Brothers. In four innings, he allowed a run on three hits. He walked two and struck out 11.

At the plate, he added a 1-for-3 performance with an RBI.

Dominique Skipper also pitched two innings for Dragna and allowed a run on a hit. He walked three and struck out two.

At the plate, he finished 1-for-2.

Other hitters for Dragna included Cameron Aucoin, 3-for-3 with two doubles and three runs; Hunter Mouton, 1-for-2 with an RBI; Alex Brocato, 1-for-3 with a triple; and Tanner Theriot, 1-for-3.

For Offshore Hammers, Ross Albritton led the way with a 1-for-2 performance with a double and an RBI; Maurice Martin added a 1-for-2 performance with a run; Tyler Longman, 1-for-3, a double; and Adam Dupre, an RBI and a run.

Johnny's Propeller 8, Morgan City Rentals 0

Ben Allen pitched two innings and added an RBI and a run in Johnny’s Propeller’s 8-0 shutout win Wednesday at Complex Park in Morgan City.

Allen finished 1-for-2 at the plate, while in two innings of relief, he surrendered two walks and fanned two.

Makye Richard started the game for Johnny’s and in three innings, Richard allowed two hits, walked two and struck out three.

Other Johnny’s contributors included Jean Pat Dupuy, 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run; Tyler O’Con, 1-for-3, a triple and a run; Zach Landry, 1-for-3; Dede Gant and Dave Laubach, an RBI each; Adam Blum, two runs; and Ronjouer Granger and Richard, each a run.

Josh Sanford and Cooper LeBlanc led Morgan City Rentals with 1-for-2 performances, with Sanford adding a double.

Rapid Trucking 14,

Whitney Bank 0

Rapid Trucking blew out Whitney Bank, 14-0, in Minor League action at Spinella Park in Morgan City on Wednesday.

Dakota Gibson led Rapid Trucking with a 3-for-3 performance, while Randy Fontenot and Samar Thompkins each finished 2-for-2.

Other Rapid Trucking players collecting hits included Dayshon Pete, Damondrick Blackburn, JaQuan Gray, Dylan Duval and TyJon Folse, 1-for-2; and Tylon Mobley, 1-for-3.

Jacob Blum led Whitney Bank with a 2-for-2 performance.

Grizzaffi’s 5, Scully’s 2

Zane Griffin went 3-for-3 to lead Grizzaffi’s in its 5-2 victory against Scully’s Wednesday in Minor League action at Spinella Park.

Other Grizzaffi players collecting hits included Drew Rock, 2-for-3; Ben Miller, 1-for-2; and Ty Eschette and Zaki Singleton, each 1-for-3.

Ethan Blanchard led Scully’s with a 2-for-2 performance, while Hayden Landry added a 1-for-2 performance and Kyen Hayles went 1-for-3.
