Rapid Trucking defeats Scully's Aluminum Boats

MORGAN CITY — Rapid Trucking shut out Scully’s 6-0 in youth baseball action Wednesday at Spinella Park.

For Rapid Trucking, TyJon Folse, Domondrick Blackburn, Howard Kinchen, Keegan Lane and Ramye Jones all finished 2-for-2, while JaQuan Gray and Tylon Mobley each were 1-for-2 and Dylan Duval, 1-for-3.

Ben Lewis led Scully’s with a 2-for-2 performance, while Tre Kenner and Cameron LaCoste each were 1-for-2.

Whitney Bank 14,

A.J. Dohmann 7

Tyler Stewart, Blake Peterson and Kris Prejeant each finished 3-for-3 to lead Whitney Bank in its win.

Other top contributors for Whitney Bank included Ty Russo, Thomas Carter and Robert Blanchard, each 2-for-3; Gary Nicar, Bryson Dupuy and Conner Ho, all 1-for-2; and Karson Nelson and Zack Billiot, each 1-for-3.

Collin Gowan, Gage Patureau and Dominic Case each were 3-for-3 for A.J. Dohmann, while Aidan Gowan and Tate Aucoin each finished 2-for-3. Other top contributors for A.J. Dohmann included Ian Keppers and Bryson Roy, each 1-for-2; and Andrew Cavalier, Angelo Viscardi and Caleb O’Con, all 1-for-3.

Johnny’s Propeller 8,

Offshore Hammers 7

Dave Laubach was perfect at the plate with an RBI as Johnny’s Propeller edged Offshore Hammers in Dixie League action Wednesday at Complex Park.

Laubach finished 3-for-3 and scored two runs.

D.D. Gant also finished 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run for Johnny’s Propeller, while Taylor Blanchard was 2-for-3 with a double, William LaRocca, 2-for-3 with two runs and Peter Washington, 1-for-2, a triple and an RBI.

Other top contributors included Shea Gaspard and Gilbert Johnson, each 1-for-3 with a run, and Michael-Anthony Hill, a run.

Trey Derouen led Offshore Hammers with a 2-for-3 performance with a triple, two RBIs and a run, while Grant Stansbury was 1-for-3 with a double and two runs. Other top contributors include Devin Hidalgo, Garret Deshotel and Tylan Bennett, each 1-for-3; John Charles Hebert, two RBIs and a run; and Austin Deshotel, an RBI.

Skipper’s Sporting Goods 4

Dragna Brothers defeated Skipper’s Sporting Goods in Dixie League action Wednesday at Complex Park.

Alex Brocato finished 1-for-3 with a home run for Dragna Brothers, while Ryan Miller and Akayah Poole each finished 1-for-2 and Jake Arceneaux recorded an RBI. Other top contributors included Zachary Stewart and Michael Crappell, each two runs; and Ricky Cruz, a run.

Tank Charles finished 2-for-3 with a run for Skipper’s, while Austin Blair recorded an RBI and a run; Justin Perou, an RBI and Dakota Lux and Cade Booty each scored a run.
