Lady Eagles expect pitching duel against Ascension Catholic

Megan Landry will take to the mound at noon Friday as Central Catholic tries to get past Ascension Catholic in quarterfinals play. The game will be held at Frasch Park in Sulphur. Ascension Catholic knocked Central Catholic out of last year’s tournament in semifinals play.

Lady Eagles heading to Sulphur

BAYOU VISTA — Central Catholic outlasted False River, 2-0, in the second-round of the Class 1A playoffs Thursday behind Megan Landry’s 12-strikeout gem to advance to the quarterfinals in Sulphur.

CCHS softball looks to cap season with title
