Police Reports 8-6-13

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning:

Brandon Marks, 30, of 1031 La. 318, Lot 3, Jeanerette, was arrested Monday at 12:42 p.m. on warrants charging him with theft. No bond was set. His arrest resulted from an investigation into theft of scrap metal from a local farm.

Keith Thompson, no age given, of 528 Garber St., Morgan City, was arrested today at 2:30 a.m. on charges of possession of marijuana, violation of a drug free zone, possession of drug paraphernalia and obstruction of justice. No bond was set.

Travis Lacoste, 24, of 1801 Rose St., Lot 5, Berwick, was arrested Tuesday at 2:30 a.m. on a charge of resisting an officer and a failure to appear warrant on a charge of possession of marijuana. No bond was set.

Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division agents reported the arrest of Jennifer Slate, 52, of 112 Pine Drive, Morgan City, Monday at 9:11 p.m. on charges of speeding and possession of crack cocaine. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Mitchell Guilbeau, 18, of Seventh Street, Franklin, Monday at 1:22 p.m. on an Acadia Parish warrant charging him with simple burglary of a dwelling. He was held for transfer.

Jeremey Lavine, 23, of New Roads, was arrested Monday at 1:55 p.m. on a warrant charging him with theft over $4,000 and was also charged with bank fraud. No bond was set.

Charles Joseph Boudreaux, 48, of La. 182, Franklin, was arrested today at 12:33 a.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear on charges of no insurance, failure to transfer title, suspended driver’s license and criminal neglect of family. He was held on $20,815 bond.
