St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning.
Jonathan J. Lirette, 20, of Gray, was arrested Tuesday at 8:10 a.m. on a Morgan City failure to appear warrant on charges of underage possession of alcohol. He was transferred to Morgan City police.
Estelle Morgan, 68, of Kaplan, was arrested Tuesday at 11:28 a.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks. She turned herself in and was released on a summons.
Gary Peters, 32, of 211 Jones Road, Jeanerette, was arrested Tuesday at 1:37 p.m. on charges of improper display of a license plate, reckless operation, driving under suspension, improper equipment and a failure to appear for a revocation hearing warrant. He was released on $4,250 bond.
James Percle, 30, of 4021 Francis St., Apt. 4, Berwick, was arrested Tuesday at 3:13 p.m. on a warrant charging him with simple battery, simple criminal damage to property, theft and parole violation. No bond was set.
Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force members reported the arrest of Allen Ray Simmons, 52, of 215 Myra St., Franklin, Tuesday at 12:42 p.m. on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on a summons.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Kina Vitatoe, 37, of New Iberia. Tuesday at 8:01 a.m. on a charge of theft over $500 bond.
Barry Rowe, 48, of Anderson Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 6:04 p.m. on a warrant charging him with simple battery. He was released on $296 bond.
Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Clay Thompson Sr., 55, of College Road, Jeanerette, Monday on a warrant charging him with violation of a protective order. No bond was set.
Pamela C. Smith, 41, of Big Four Corners Road, Jeanerette, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant charging her with simple battery. She was released on a summons.
Carlven C. Champan III, 35, of Louisiana Street, Morgan City, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of criminal trespassing. He was released on a summons.
