Police Reports 3-19-12

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past weekend:

Alicia L. Elzy, 27, of 5947 Railroad Avenue, No. 10, Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 12:02 p.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks. She turned herself in and was released on a summons.

Brandi D. Anthony, 36, of 1521 Fairview St., Bayou Vista, was arrested Friday at 12:54 p.m. on a warrant charging her with shoplifting. She was released on a summons.

Jeremy Allemond, 20, of 604 Kem St., Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 4:49 a.m. on charges of aggravated burglary, aggravated battery and criminal damage to property. No bond was set.

Breeze Randal, 33, of 230 Pickett St., Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 11:44 p.m. on a warrant charging him with criminal neglect of family. He was held on $8,732 bond.

Misael Garcia, 22, of 1188 Lakeview Drive, Amelia, was arrested today at 12:55 a.m. on a charge of theft. He was released on a summons.

Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Needron Bernard, 27, Kevin Hebert, 20, and Philbert Schexnaider, 20, all of Charenton, Saturday at 7 p.m. on charges of disorderly conduct. Kayla Pope, 22, of Charenton, was arrested in the same incident and charged with disturbing the peace by fighting. All were released on summons.

Shardi Howard, 26, of New Iberia, was arrested Sunday at 4 a.m. on a charge of simple battery, and failure to appear warrants from New Iberia. No bond was set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Anastasia Maria Fuselier, 25, of New Iberia, Friday on warrants charging her with resisting an officer by giving false information, driving under suspension and speeding. She was released on $2,250 bond.

Damontay Lightfoot, 17, of Ninth Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 11:30 a.m. on a charge of theft. He was held on $1,000 bond.

D’Uandranique D’Andrie Diggs, 20, of Eighth Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 1:05 p.m. on a charge of simple battery. She was released on $500 bond.

Kevin D. Freeman, 22, of Mechanic Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 3:14 p.m. on warrants charging him with two counts of armed robbery, two counts of armed robbery with use of a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. No bond was set.

Claude James, Hebert, 37, of Curtis Drive, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 5:01 p.m. on a warrant charging him with issuing worthless checks. He was released on $3,500 bond.

Ashanti Jaquan Frost, 19, of Magnolia Street, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 5:31 p.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace. She was released to appear in court.

Bradley Fontenot Jr., 37, of New Iberia, was arrested Friday at 8:08 p.m. on a warrant charging him with simple battery. He was released on $500 bond.

Tyland Nevaeh Nerve, 18, of Sparrow Gardens, Centerville, was arrested Friday at 10:29 p.m. on charges of battery on a police officer and resisting an officer with force. He was held with no bond set.

Richard Lee Lajaunie, 44, of Second Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 4:40 p.m. on charges of two counts of theft. He was held on $1,000 bond.

Vydal Alexander Augustine, 19, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, was arrested Sunday at 8:14 p.m. on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on $1,500 bond.

Theran Darnel Augustine, 21, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, was arrested Sunday at 8:14 p.m. on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on $1,500 bond.

Melvin Harvey II, 20, of Stone Mountain, Georgia, was arrested Sunday at 8:14 p.m. on charges of speeding, reckless operation and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was released on $3,000 bond.
