St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:
Mario Verdun, 35, of 1811 K St., Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 2:48 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to register as a sex offender. No bond was set.
A juvenile male, age 14, was arrested Tuesday at 3:48 p.m. on warrants charging him with simple criminal damage to property, simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling simple burglary. He was released to a guardian pending juvenile court.
Morgan A. Lavergene, 17, of 534 of Leo Drive, Patterson, was arrested Tuesday at 5:11 p.m. on a charge of theft of shoplifting. He was released on a summons.
Brittney Bourque, 18, of 122 Solar Apartments, Morgan City, was arrested today at 3:11 a.m. on a warrant charging Bourque with failure to appear on a charge of possession of marijuana. She was held on a $5,000 bond.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Jonathan King, 30, of Josephine Street, Franklin, Tuesday at 5:21 p.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace. He was released on a $250 bond.
Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Jordon Watson, 22, and Edward Butler, 23, both of Patterson, Saturday at 2:30 a.m. on charges of unlawful use of a state identification card. Both were released on summonses.
Frankie Pilote, 20, of Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 2:30 a.m. on charges of unlawful use of a state identification card and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
William Griffin, 25, of Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 2:30 a.m. on charges of unlawful use of a state identification card and illegal carrying of a weapon. No bond was set.
Engwan Joseph, 32, and Eleasha Harris, 25, both of Franklin, were arrested Sunday at 2:25 a.m. on charges of disturbing the peace by fighting. They were released on summonses.
Jason Jones, 32, of New Iberia, was arrested Sunday at 3:50 a.m. on a charge of theft. He was released on a summons.
Jamand Johnson, 22, of Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 8 a.m. on charges of criminal trespassing and two counts of theft. No bond was set.
Sidney Villo Jr., 49, of New Iberia, was arrested Sunday at 9 a.m. on a charge of criminal trespassing. He was released on a summons.
