St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests from the past 24-hour reporting period:
Dennis Bordelon, 52, of 376 Verdun Lane, Verdunville, was arrested Tuesday at 5:04 a.m. on a charge of violation of a protective order. No bond was set.
Herbert J. Smith, 50, of 101 Pershing St., Baldwin, was arrested Tuesday at 6:28 a.m. on charges of reckless operation and simple obstruction of a highway. He was held on a $2,000 bond.
Multi-jurisdictional Drug Task Force agents reported the arrest of Tasha Carmouche, 29, of 1804 N St., No. 4, Patterson, Tuesday at 12:16 p.m. on charges of possession of marijuana and improper lane use. She was released on a summons.
Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of Teala Bernard, 29, of Charenton, Tuesday at 2:10 a.m. on a charge of disorderly conduct. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Jarred Brown, 26, of Seventh Street, Franklin, Tuesday at 9:33 a.m. on bench warrants. He was held on a $788 bond.
Joyce Amelia Lombus, 20, of Iberia Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 1:25 p.m. on charges of second-offense domestic battery, resisting an officer with force, resisting by flight and disturbing the peace. No bond was set.
Michael Shawn Meyer, 19, of Cypress Street, Franklin, was arrested today at 3:10 a.m. on charges of third-offense theft under $300, simple burglary of a vehicle, criminal trespassing, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
