Patterson man arrested for felony carnal knowledge

St Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reports the following:

—Dwayne Jackson, 32, f Alexander Street in Franklin, was arrested Tuesday on warrants for possession of Schedule II drugs, possession of Schedule IV drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, and parole violation. He remains jailed with no bail set.

—Deondre Demarcus Skinner, 19, of Tiffany Street in Patterson, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile. During the course of an investigation done in March of a complaint of an ungovernable juvenile, detectives learned that Skinner allegedly had sex with a 14-year-old female on multiple occasions at a residence in Patterson. Skinner was released on a $5,000 bail.

—A 16-year-old Bayou Vista female was arrested Tuesday at 10:59 p.m. for reckless operation of a vehicle. A deputy responded to a reported vehicle crash on Cremo Lane in Patterson and observed a damaged vehicle in a ditch. The juvenile allegedly struck a telephone pole in the crash and was transported to Teche Regional Medical Center for treatment. After her release from the hospital and the initial investigation, she was released to a guardian pending juvenile court proceedings.

—Gilberto Gonzales, 24, of Port Arthur, Texas, was arrested Tuesday on U.S. 90 in Baldwin for possession of synthetic cannabinoids, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile and abuse of toxic vapors. St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office narcotics detectives patrolling the Four Corners area observed a vehicle fail to stop at the stop sign on the U.S. 90 frontage road. Detectives conducted a traffic stop and received consent from Gonzales to search the vehicle at which time synthetic cannabinoids belonging to Gonzales were found according to the report. Gonzales remains in jail with no bail set. A juvenile in the vehicle was released to a guardian.

Morgan City Police Chief Travis Crouch reports the following:

—Denisica Starling, 31, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant for probation violation. She remains jailed on a $5,000 bail.
