Participants busy in Leadership St. Mary
Participants in the second Leadership St. Mary class have completed three of the seven day-long sessions scheduled for the program this year.
The class has taken part in a parishwide history tour, a presentation on “Understanding Self and Moving Into Alignment” by Greg Young and Tony Dickinson and visited local industrial and agricultural sites including New Industries, Oceaneering, Cabot and the St. Mary Co-Op sugar mill. The group was able to hear from representatives of Dugas Oil and North American Salt as well.
In the upcoming January session, they will meet with local educators and tour selected schools while learning about current successes and challenges in our public school system. They will also visit the Young Memorial Campus and Marine Training facility.
