Billy was a fun, loving and kind hearted person who never met a stranger. He was an avid Saints fan and loved adventure. He was very passionate about his family, and also had a strong love for helping children, especially his nieces and nephews. He could never say no to them. He was the grandchild that every grandparent should have the pleasure of having, taking them grocery shopping, dining out and for Sunday rides and gave them tons of love and attention. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, coached Biddy Basketball, and was active in all aspects of his community. A native of Franklin and a lifelong resident of Centerville, Billy passed away at the young age of 43 on Sunday, March 9, 2014, at his residence.
Those left behind to cherish his memory include his loving mother, Susan Lamaison Lanclos; his father, William W. ‘Bill” Lanclos Sr.; two brothers, Jason Lanclos and Scott Lanclos and his wife, Rachelle; his paternal grandfather, Jim Lanclos; nieces and nephews, Wesley Scott Lanclos (also his godchild), Makenzie Nicole Marcotte, Alyssa Marie Lanclos and Alex Scott Lanclos (also his godchild); as well as three other godchildren, Alaina Pierce, Andy Lanclos and Cooper Lanclos; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John Lamaison and Beulah Martin Lamaison, and his paternal grandmother, Anna Mae Edler Lanclos.
