Martha Jane Dickerson Bailey

Jane Bailey, 69, a native of Marked Tree, Ark., and a resident of Morgan City, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013.
She was born Sept. 14, 1944.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Bailey of Morgan City; a son, the Rev. James Clark of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Amos Dickerson of Saltillo, Tenn.; and two sisters, Margaret Soto of Morgan City and Julie Snyder of Kerrville, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters; and two brothers.
She was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, where she was also active in the choir. She was an accountant and a professional truck driver for more than 14 years.
Visitation was held Sunday at Hargrave Funeral Home from 6 to 9 p.m. with a Rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial was held today at St. Bernadette Catholic Church beginning at 10 a.m. with the Rev. James Clark celebrating. She was laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity in memory of Jane Bailey.
