Marcus Kendall “Fat Fat” Cheatham, 16, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Schriever, La., died Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:41 a.m., in Centerville.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 1, at the Siracusaville Recreation Center, 1110 Grace St., Morgan City, from 9 a.m. until funeral services at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Mechanicville Emmanuel Baptist Church Cemetery in Houma.
Markus leaves to cherish his memories his father, Mark Kentrell Cheatham Sr., of Schriever; two brothers, Mark Kentrell Cheatham Jr. of Schriever and Landon J. Scott of Houma; two sisters, Markeyera KeShay Cheatham of Schriever and De’Anna LaShay Cheatham of Patterson; his maternal grandfather, Donald Campbell Sr., of Houma; his maternal grandmother, Luella Williams Miller of Morgan City; paternal grandparents, Donna and Percy Smith, both of Schriever; his godfather, Christopher Williams of Houma; and a host of relatives and friends.
Markus was preceded in death by his mother, and his sister, a cousin, his paternal and maternal great grandparents.
