Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 13, 2014, at 10 a.m., at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin for Kim Carl Werline, 56, a native of Ardmore, Oklahoma, was a longtime former resident of Bayou Vista and Pineville, and a recent resident of Houma, who passed away Monday, February 10, 2014, at 4:12 p.m., at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma. He will be laid to rest in the Franklin Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be V.J. Werline, John N. Werline, Douglas Werline, Micheal Werline, Tom “Wine” Bedwell and Lou Boudreaux. His brother, the Rev. Terry Werline, will officiate the services.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday at Ibert’s Mortuary in Franklin from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.., and again Thursday from 8 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m.
Survivors include his five siblings, V. J. Werline and his wife, Lucille; Ray A. Werline and his wife, Ginger; Orban “Terry” Werline Jr. and his wife, Judy; Willena Mae Werline Boudreaux and her husband, Lou; and John N. Werline; his cousin and caregiver, Charlotte Marsh; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Orban Werline Sr.; and by his mother and step-father, Willie Mae Boudreaux Burbridge and Earl Burbridge.
