Frankie was born on May 17, 1968 to Dorothy Smith Saucier and John A. Saucier Sr. He was born in Leland, Mississippi coming home to Gilbert, La. where he would spend his entire 45 years. He was a loving and caring husband to his wife, Christie, fiercely protective, loving and equally gentle father to sons, Bruce Kyle Saucier, John Roger Saucier and Christopher Kolby Saucier McClelland. Frankie loved his family with everything in his heart and soul.
He was a cherished son, much loved brother, brother-in-law, nephew, cousin and a loyal friend. If you were Frankie’s friend you had a friend for life. He never met a stranger, always willing to jump in and help where he could. He had a mischievous sense of humor, his day was complete if he could make you laugh. His smile was genuine his bright green eyes would sparkle with happiness when he met a familiar face. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding four wheelers, tinkering on a project, restoring a truck with his son, Kyle, or riding go-carts on a day out with his family. He enjoyed watching car races with family and friends. Frankie lived outside of Gilbert, La. all of his life, only a block or so down from his childhood home.
He loved living on the “lake,” he lived his life with knowledge of the important things that make life rich, family, friends and a place to call home.
