Morgan City High School won its season opener with a 49-39 victory against Terrebonne in Morgan City Tuesday.

Prep swimmers to conclude seasons at state meet

The Morgan City High School soccer teams began their seasons Tuesday at home, with the girls defeating Covenant Christian, 6-1, and the boys falling to Central Lafourche, 5-0.

Assumption shuts out MCHS, 58-0

Assumption High School may have shut out Morgan City, 58-0, in the Tigers’ season finale Friday in Morgan City, but the Tigers put up a fight in their final game of the 2016 season.
